Quality cast vinyl on solid paint runs about five to seven years. Idaho sun and winter road salt are the real clock, and a wrap that gets hand washed lasts noticeably longer.
A full color change is usually three to five days with the vehicle in our shop. Chrome delete or a partial is often a single day, and we quote fleet work after a quick look.
Not on factory paint in good shape, the vinyl actually protects it. We pull old wrap with heat and take the adhesive with it. Resprayed or already failing paint is the one case we flag before we start.
Gloss reads closest to paint and hides dust best. Satin is the middle ground and photographs well. Matte looks the most custom but shows fingerprints and wants hand washing. We bring samples out into daylight before you pick.
